Bistone HMS follows a strict security principle:

• Each user can only change their own password (via the Change My Password section).
• Even an administrator with full system access cannot modify another user's password.
• If a user forgets their password, the administrator can only perform a Reset Password operation, which clears the existing password and allows the user to set a new one upon next login. This ensures that no one, including administrators, ever sees or changes another person's password directly.

What About Resetting a Forgotten Password?

• If a staff member forgets their password and cannot log in, an administrator can perform a password reset. This does not reveal or change the password to a known value; instead, it clears the existing password so the user can set a new one during next login.
