All standard versions of Bistone HMS let you define Services that can be either non-inventory services (like housekeeping, spa treatments) or Stockable Items (like mini-bar products, restaurant ingredients, guest supplies). You can sell them directly from:
- Reservations - Post charges to a guest's folio during their stay.
- Sale Records (POS) - Ring up sales at your restaurant, bar, or gift shop.
This setup works perfectly for daily operations - you record what you sell, and the system keeps a log of every transaction. But there is one thing the standard version does not include: automated inventory tracking.
